Our program
You combine a German language course (standard, intensive
or heavily intensive courses) for a minimum of 4 weeks
with an internship within a company in Regensburg or
in the surrounding area for 8 to 12 weeks (extensions
are possible).
Your internship will begin after the completion of your
German course. The internship will be arranged and overseen
in cooperation with IFP
Job-Vermittlungsservice GmbH.
Qualifications
- at least 21 years old
- 3 years work experience, or 3 years higher education
- good German language skills (at least Niveau Mittelstufe
1); in the case that your German is insufficient to
start the internship, the language courses can be
extended. The internship will only begin when you
can speak German sufficiently
- submission of a complete application 3 months prior
to the start of the internship
- submission of a description of your prior work
experience and your expectations for the internship
(in German),
- readiness for an interview with the internship
company upon arrival in Regensburg.
How to apply
At least 3 months prior to the desired start date,
please send to us your complete application with the
following information:
- CV (Resume) including verifiable education and
work experiences during your career development,
- verifications (or recommendations) from prior employers
when possible,
- proof of current German language knowledge and
other foreign languages,
application to be submitted in German.

- Internships from 8 to 12 weeks, longer durations
are possible,
- arrangement of an internship in a desired business
area, not within any specific company,
- individual consultations to answer all questions
related to the internship,
- all internships are non-salary / unpaid,
- written contracts between you and the internship
company including the duration of and your job functions
during the internship period,
- personal evaluations / proof of internship completion
from the internship company,
- settlement of contributions to legally required
accident insurance.

Prices
One-time application fee for securing the internship
up to 350 €,
the application fee is non-refundable if you do not
begin an agreed-upon internship or you do not complete
it,
Fees for the German language courses (example: 660 €
for 4 weeks of standard courses),
Housing - it is possible to book a room with us for
the duration of your stay (example price: single room
in student dormitory 100 € / week + fee 100 €).
Sample costs:
4 weeks standard course 660 €
8 weeks internship 350 €
12 weeks single room 1300 €
Total: 2310 €
